San Diego Bariatric Surgeons has given me back my life. A year ago I weighed 248lbs. At 5?3? I was morbidly obese. I pretended to be happy but inside I was miserable. I made the decision to have gastric bypass surgery. The program at Sharp Memorial was my choice from the moment I attended their seminar. I instantly felt comfortable and confident with the staff and surgeon who were there that evening. I was amazed at the detail of their program and the caring nature of everyone involved. I didn?t feel like a number ? I felt like a cared for individual whose best interest was at the heart of every decision made by the people associated with San Diego Bariatric. I had surgery on November 17, 2003 with Dr. George Mueller. It is 14 months later and I am now down 112lbs. I weigh 136lbs. I have lost 2 shoe sizes ? going from a 9.5 to a 7.5. I have actually gained an inch in height. I am now 5?4? instead of the 5?3? I have always been. I have gone from a size 22/24 to a 6/8. I can walk up stairs, carry on a conversation, and not be out of breath. I can run ? I can ride my bike ? I can do whatever I want. I owe all of this to San Diego Bariatric Surgeons. I can?t say enough about the doctors, their support staff and the program. They assist you every step of the way. No matter what time of day or night there is always someone who is available to help you. Thank you, Dr. Mueller and staff, for giving me back my life? |

Lynnda I looked at your bio and found your website it was fascinating to read ? Congrats. I wish I was just a little more diligent in documenting my life after surgery and remember to take more pictures. Also wish I had more before videos for comparisons. Great Job
