At 320 pounds, I slept with my cell phone every night for fear that I might have a heart attack during the night. My weight had become a serious medical problem. The surgeons were not only highly skilled in leading-edge laparoscopic procedures, but were also extremely personable, and took the time to join several seminars and support groups to ensure potential patients had as much information as possible. The program coordinator was also wonderful. She was patient and exhibited extraordinary perseverance when working with my insurance company so that I could become a patient of the best program in San Diego. I am now down to 170 pounds and feel like a new person. I can honestly say it was worth every minute.
